authorization for automatic monthly billing
is included with the subscription request.
Automatic credit card billing is the only
form of payment unless prior arrangements
have been made. No pro-rated billing or refunds
for partial months are available, except for
the first month of service. All fees are subject
to change without notice and are subject to
applicable state and local taxes.
Connection
HiLINE Internet Services
provides basic, direct Internet connectivity
in the greater RioGrande Valley area, supporting
modem speeds up to 56Kbps (V.anything, K56Flex
only, and V.90), as well as leased-line
Frame-Relay connections from 128Kbps to
T1(1.544Mbps) speeds, BRI ISDN (64 or 128Kbps)
access, as well as various types DSL services
up to 1.5Mbps SDSL.
HiLINE provides the
highest quality local access to the Internet.
HiLINE is the only local Internet Service
Provider connected to the Internet via private
T1 links at each facility to a 45MB (DS3)
link to the Qwest Tier 1 Internet backbone,
providing a total diversified capacity over
12 Mbps for both incoming and outgoing Internet
traffic.
HiLINE uses Ascend
Max 4000 Series and Lucent (Livingston)
PortMaster digital routers for both analog
and ISDN access, and Cisco routers for Frame-Relay
and Tier 1 Internet backbone access.
HiLINE uses Sun Solaris
(Unix) and DEC Alpha 1000 servers hosting
the Web Servers, and FreeBSD Domain Name
and E-mail Servers. This configuration can
be easily expanded as the demand and traffic
requires, while maintaining the highest
quality at a very low cost to its subscribers.
HiLINE
provides a Windows-based or Macintosh Internet
access software starter kit, at no extra
charge to PPP subscribers. HiLINE does not
warranty nor support this software kit.

use of your connection, except resale. Subscribers
are required to comply with the Acceptable
Use Policies (AUPs) of any network through
which they communicate. Other terms and
